Downloadable People's Choice Art Contest Entry Form
Artists from throughout Eastern Iowa are invited to submit one or two items of their best work and participate in a People’s Choice Art Competition at this year’s CC Rider Community Festival in historic downtown Central City on Saturday, August 23, 2008.
“Any art medium may be used for entries in the competition” said Patricia Shahrivar, local artist, co-owner of The Art and Gift Center, and chairperson for the People’s Choice exhibit. Kathie Duesenberger, owner of Facettes, Inc. states, “The contest is our community’s effort to support the artistic talents of area citizens.”
There is no charge to participate in the competition, and all art work will be displayed inside The Art and Gift Center, 28 North Fourth Street, from Noon until 4:00 PM during the CC Rider Festival. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to the three entries receiving the most votes from festival attendees.
Entries may be brought to the Art and Gift Center from 9-11 am on Saturday August 23rd.
