Bike Art Contest

Each year, the Central City Mainstreet organization sponsors a Bike "Yard Art" contest as a way to help promote the CC Rider Festival. This has become a fun tradition for the Central City community and a source of enjoyment for citizens and visitors alike as they tour the various displays located throughout town.
Central City residents and businesses are encouraged to start planning now for their 2008 Bike "Yard Art" displays.
Deadline to enter the contest is July 1st. Bike "Yard Art" Displays
will be judged in mid-July with the winner receiving a $50 Savings Bond.
Entrants are encouraged to have their displays in place prior to Central
City's 4th of July celebration for all to enjoy!
Don't have an old bike or bicycle parts to decorate? That's not a problem as Mainstreet has bikes available to paint or decorate for the contest - just contact us and we'll make the arrangements.
