Bike Art Contest
Each year, the Central City Mainstreet organization sponsors a Bike
"Yard Art" contest as a way to help promote the CC Rider
Festival. This has become a fun tradition for the Central City
community and a source of enjoyment for citizens and visitors alike as
they tour the various displays located throughout town.
Central City residents and businesses are encouraged to start planning now for their 2008 Bike "Yard Art" displays.
Deadline to enter the contest is August 1st and judging will be held August 2nd - however, bike displays are encouraged anytime up to August 23rd.
The winner of the Bike Art Contest wins a $50 Savings Bond.
Don't have an old bike or bicycle parts to decorate? That's not a problem as Mainstreet has bikes available to paint or decorate for the contest - just contact us and we'll make the arrangements.
