2007 CC Rider Bike Ride Information
Come bike through scenic Grant Wood country!
The 2007 CC Rider Bike Ride takes participants through the woodlands,
hills and farmland of our scenic Wapsipinicon River & Buffalo Creek
Valleys.
- 7:00 - 9:00 AM - Bike Ride Registration and Start.
- Choose from 34- or 62-mile routes (all hard-surfaced roads).
- Entry Fee is $25 for Adults, $15 for Youths; Family Rate available. Must be 10 or older to participate.
- Combo discount available for registered individual participants of both the 8 am 5K Walk/Run and the 9 am Bike Ride.
Cyclists may ride at their own pace. All participants are required to wear bike helmets required. The Bike Ride will be held regardless of weather.
All registered bike riders receive the following perks:
- Free 2007 Commemorative T-shirt
- Free Rest-stop snacks & drinks
- Free Festival coupons
- Free Sag wagon on designated routes during schedule ride times
Showers will be available for participants at the school from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm for $3. Towels are provided.
After the bike ride, spend some time in historic Central City enjoying the various CC Rider events held throughout the day.
